What a SUCCESS!! The 1st annual fundraiser for C.A.R. was held Saturday May 31, 2008, at Lake Zorinsky in Omaha. It was such a great success thanks to all of the wonderful people in this community and the folks that came from as far as Washington state and NYC to support C.A.R. Over 900 people participated in the 1 and 5 mile walks/runs on a beautiful early summer setting by the lake. We would like to thank everyone who helped sponsor and work the event for help making it such a memorable day for all. And we would also like to thank the many students, parents, grandparents, families and friends that made the event meaningful in our efforts to reduce fatal teen crashes in the metro area and beyond.
